INTENTIE

Krakti offers one day 1:1 psilocybin retreats in Amsterdam, and guidance around the topic of death and endings. This could be the physical death of people or animals, and also endings of phases and identities. Even though you can find many tools here, we like to use them in the most simple way, and always with the intention to connect you with your own purity and power.

How it began

Nancy founded Krakti in  the beginning of 2019 and has taught Healing Yoga courses in Amsterdam, private psilocybin sessions in Amsterdam and retreats in Portugal. Her parents are from Surinamese descend – hence the choice to take a Surinamese word for her enterprise.

About Nancy

My name is Nancy. I grew up in The Netherlands as a daughter of Surinamese immigrants, with Asian, African & European heritage. I never truly fitted in anywhere, which now gives me the wisdom and understanding to hold space for people from all walks of life.

Previously, I followed a very rational and scientific path and was focused on my grades & career. Even though my mother introduced me to meditation, yoga, and energy work (Reiki) from the age of 1 – it was all too woo-woo growing up. When I was 20 she told me about doing ayahuasca in Brazil — but I just rolled my eyes, since science and spirituality did not go together for me back then.

After struggling with depression for more than a decade, I realized I needed a different way forward. Slowly, I began to open up to the non-linear, non-rational inner world. I started Vipassana meditation, completed a Yoga Teacher Training in India, and in 2016 attended my first ayahuasca ceremony. Since then, I’ve slowly been learning with, and through different plants with the help of different guides, facilitators and teachers. I still invest a lot in my knowledge (see credentials below) as I’m always curious, wish to stay teachable and humble, and mostly because I love having a broad perspective on life!

Joy, freedom, authenticity and neutrality are at the core of how I wish to live. My intention for this life is to be an anchor for these qualities.

I believe everyone should have the space to explore their own truth, in their own way — free from dogma, expectations, or fixed ideas. Because of this, I choose to stay away from titles like “shaman” or “healer”. To me, these labels often create unnecessary roles and images that can limit authentic connection. I believe it’s not about titles or certificates alone, but more so about how we live, how we embody our knowledge, and how we connect to others.

I also feel that we all carry the capacity to heal and reclaim — especially ourselves. Healing, to me, means living from our own heart space and authenticity. And when we live from that place — honest and true — we naturally contribute to the healing of the world around us.

In my work, I aim to offer a kind, open space, where you feel supported to reconnect with your own inner strength and wisdom. It would be an honor and a joy to guide you in your journey.

With loads of joy and blessings,

Nancy
