This process occurs as plant matter slowly decomposes and is compressed between layers of rock in mountainous regions such as the Himalayas, Altai, and Caucasus. This particular Shilajit is carefully sourced from pristine deposits in the Nepalese Himalayas at elevations above 3000 metres.
Rich in fulvic acid and containing over 80 trace minerals, Shilajit has been valued for thousands of years in Ayurvedic traditions. Its exact mineral profile naturally varies depending on altitude and geological conditions, making each source unique.
